HDR and Stepping out a Panorama
Jeff R. wrote:
"Alan Browne" wrote in message I should be the last person interested in defending Dougie and however bad the example he posted actually is, I think the technique has some merit and I hope to try it at some point soon. Don't misunderstand the thrust of this debate, Alan. I don't think anyone here has disputed the worth of linear panoramas - we have even suggested some good subjects, just as you do here. What we object to is Doug's deceit, self-aggrandisement and pomposity. (And that's just for a start.) The linear panorama process is just fine - so long as it's not done the way that Doug suggests. Ah, well the way to deal with that is very simple. Never reply to him. -- -- r.p.e.35mm user resource: http://www.aliasimages.com/rpe35mmur.htm -- r.p.d.slr-systems: http://www.aliasimages.com/rpdslrsysur.htm -- [SI] gallery & rulz: http://www.pbase.com/shootin -- e-meil: Remove FreeLunch. |

Evasion noted, Douglas. I ask again, whose pictures are you entering as your own? Sort of shows you up for the two faced liar you really are. No - it's just what I have always claimed. Why would I have suggested possible subjects for the process if I believed the process itself was untenable? What was impractical was your assertion that the Manly Corso photos would make a good subject for the process. You lied. (They *were* taken from the same spot.) You were wrong (That scene would *not* yield a satisfactory linear panorama.) You can't read (Too much evidence to cite.) Provide a quote, Doug, using Google archives, which suggests that I have told a single lie in this (or any) debate. If you cannot, then apologise. If you won't do either, then kindly disappear again and leave us to our celebration. -- Jeff R. |

Then how do you explain the photos on your annika1980.com tribute site that you stole from me and some of my friends without permission? Image thief! Before you lecture me or anyone else on ethics, maybe you could answer some of the questions posed to you about your CPPA organization? CPPA is not "my organization" I just set up the domain and bank rolled the incorporation of it for a few photographers ****ed off with the raw deal they get from wholesalers. How did you bankroll it Douggie, you obviously cant make enough money to do something like that from your photography!! usual lies and fraudulent web site url's deleted -- God made me an atheist. Not exactly having heard of this person, I can't help there. Where was that taken? It's one of Douglas' wedding reception shots, so most likely taken in SE Qld wiithin the last couple of years. It got a fair bit of publicity at one stage when he used it to advertise his skills, and some folk took great delight in suggesting funny captions.. |
