Bret, this shot of Spike is truly your best! Look at the detail of his
feathers. The color is drop-dead gorgeous! Superb shot! Congrats!

I think I know what he is saying in this shot: "don't even THINK about
it! Thanksgiving is for turkeys NOT blue heron"! LOL.

Why do you persist in publicizing this stuff here? There *is* a
rec.photo.equipment.digital group you know.

Because she*) is clueless? CapsLock always seem to be stuck when
writing headlines too.

*) I assume OP is female, as "Annika" is a girls name much used in
Sweden. But of course my assumption could be wrong.

Yeah, I'm the one that's clueless. LOL!

'This stuff'? name anybody else whose images are consistently as good
as Bret puts up - and he was posting here before the digital groups
were a reality. There's the doers and the knockers. Where are your images?

Yes. Bret's images are an inspiration.....Sometimes, when he posts a really
spectacular one, I grab my camera and go out to see what I can get, even if
it's pouring down rain....He has sold a hell of a lot of film to me, even
though his images are digital in origin......

Yeah I must've been in a bad mood when I wrote that. I did retract it straight
away, in my defence, but it is still out there.

But why does it have to be related to the 20D?

My images are all at home. They are not digital I'm afraid. This is an
'equipment' NG so I suppose I could be forgiven for expecting an equipment
discussion instead of "hey look at my pictures!".

But I got over it and retracted it.
