20D GETS HAWKY !!!
Today was a good day to get out and torment the hawks.
These were all taken handheld with the Forgotten 400 f/5.6L and the 20D. http://www.pbase.com/bret/image/39708090 http://www.pbase.com/bret/image/39708091 http://www.pbase.com/bret/image/39708093 |

Great Pictures. I just bought a 400mm f5.6 L lens and I'm starting to
use it on birds. Do you have all of your focusing boxes turned on when you shoot birds? I've been only leaving the center box on and I miss quite a few shots. My reason is I don't want the camera grabbing backgroup stuff to focus on. Art |

Thanks for the response. If the bird is close I usually don't have a
problem. it's when they are far away and those pictures ususally aren't that good even in focus. Art |
