Pushing Portra 100T - Followup
Well, in the absence of conclusive experience, I tried it. Won't be trying
it again. I tried a two stop push to ISO 400, and the loss of shadow detail was _a lot_ more than you'd normally expect for a two stop push. Also the grain looks more like I'd expect from a three stop plus push. The colours aren't bad though... Looking at this I expect 100T would be useable with a one stop push, but probably not worth the bother. Two stops: not recommended. Oh well, back to high speed daylight film and an 85B next time I need to do that sort of thing. And it's never a waste of time experimenting... Peter -- http://www.bard-hill.co.uk |

You can't push film. Underexposure is fatal. Don't even try.

Not yet, and it may be a little while since I have a lot to do before Christmas, but I may be doing one or two in due course, and can post a link. Peter |
