Default Tamron Lense for digital camera?

I am wondering if my Tamron lense could be used on a digital camera.
I used it on my Pentax ME and if I get a new digital camera it would
be nice if I could use it.

It can only be used on the Pentax *istD, no other dSLR will accept a manual
focus lens. The FOV crop factor is 1.5X on the *istD so a 80~210 will
resemble a 105~315mm.

I just did some research on the Pentax *istD and it sounds like a
great camera but way over my budget. It would cost me $2,500 after
taxes so I'll just keep looking for something about half of that.
Thanks for your reply. It gave me something to think about.

Pentax are just about to announce a cheaper digital SLR, based on the
*istD. I think it's rumoured to sell for about $800 (?). If you keep
your eye on this column for the next few weeks someone is bound to
mention it when Pentax formally announce it.

More correctly, no other dSLR will accept a manual focus *Pentax*
lens... Nikon dSLRs will use MF Nikon and Nikon-compatible lenses.
