Default Film curves & paper curves

I have read that in choosing a film/paper combination, it's a good
idea to look at the both the film's and the paper's characteristic
curves to see if they will complement each other.

With this in mind, in searching for a film to print on Bergger papers,
I wonder whether I should begin with old technology emulsions or the
modern T-grain emulsions, and would appreciate some guidance.
Thanks, Phil Lamerton

You probably will be Ok with either, my experience indicates that
films like Forte or Bergger work well with the VCFB Bergger
as well as Delta 100.

Thanks for this. Have you noticed any difference in the midtones
between one type of film and the other when printed on this paper?
