Default Vivitar VHE and Rodagon

What was so special about this Vivitar VHE 135mm enlarging lens?

The reason I ask is that it sold for $52.97. On the other hand, I won
this Rodagon 135mm for $21.50 yesterday:

Is the Vivitar a superior lens?

Someone got a real bargain on the Rodagon. That's much less than
they usually go for (or have things really gotten that bad in
silver land?).

About the Vivitar, I have no idea. The common garden variety Japanese
Vivitar is pretty common and garden variety - not much of a match
for a Rodagon.

The seller seems to be making the hint it is a Rodagon or Companon
in Vivitar livery - my response is, so what? Why get a Mercedes
that is badged as a Chevrolet?

The VHE was a Componon and a Plymouth would be more appropriate then a
Chevrolet since both the Mercedes and the Plymouth are Daimler Benz
products.

I have been following enlarger sale on eBay for a few weeks now,and
older componons and rodagon are going literally for a song.
People seem to be interested only in APO-Rodagon and Componon-S.

Older chrome barrel componons are not even getting sold. So, I guess
things are really bad in silver land.

I got a 75mm schneider comparon (4 element lens) for 5 dollars.
