POTA vs. Delagi #8
piterengel wrote: Hi, what are advantages (if any) using Delagi #8 instead POTA with Tech Pan? Thanks piterengel There's not that much difference between them: both POTA and Delagi 8 (a modified POTA) consist of Phendone and sodium sulfite. The difference is Delagi added benzotriazole (restrainer/antifoggant) and borax. POTA was originally intended to record very high contrast ranges (like atom bomb blasts.) For normal scene contrast range of 7 or so stops, Delagi will give "normal" results. |
