Anyone tried Walmart's scanning option?
I was on the Walmart photo center web site and noticed they have a new
(to me) feature where they will scan in photos you get developed in-store - for an extra $2. I know Ofoto has done something similar for years, but Walmart has added an interesting twist. Now they let you download your uploaded photos at full resolution. Ofoto doesn't let you download the scans, just print them (for a cost of course). So it seems like you could get your whole role scanned for $2. Which is a lot better deal than any other scanning option. Regrettably, they don't mention what the resolution of the scans is. Has anyone tried this yet? Scott |

Scott:
When you get prints at Walmart, you can also get your pictures put on a CD in JPG format. I don't know if this is what you are referring to. Bob |
