Default Starting Point

I'm about to buy a Wacom Intuos3 6 x 8. I tried to download the manual from
the Wacom site but didn't find it.

I have a question: If you want to work on a point on a photo, how do you
find that point on the tablet?

I don't want to spend the money for Cintiq.

Thanks for the help.

Maurie
