try and fool people into thinking that the "product" (firefox 2) was
legitimate.

Yes, your post was, like the OP's, spam.

Try not to repost the offending url when you post replies to spam, as
many people will not have seen the original post due to spam filters.
Repeating the url just expands the spams audience.

This is spam, and NEVER download Firefox from any site but the Mozilla
site. You might get something a bit extra, that you don't want, such as
Google's toolbar, or someone's handy-dandy new trojan.

I don't use ANY third-party toolbars. I see nothing they would do that
justifies their potential problems. The warning is about downloading
programs from sites other than the official distribution sites which may
come with something a lot less friendly than Google Toolbar....
Over the years, so many of the complaints of problems, especially with
upgrades, have come from people using third-party toolbars that I have
come to believe they are more trouble than they are worth. I have yet
to see one that added any functionality I wanted/needed, but YMMV.
