HELP needed: Metz 45/60 Flash AC Power info
prc1 wrote: The 45 and 60-series Metz flashes have a funky connector on their sides for connecting a "mains" AC adapter. This is really just a transformer. I don't have this adapter, and wish to build my own adapter that will power two 60 CT-1's in a studio configuration. Does anyone have a mains adapter and an AC voltmeter, that would be willing to check the output to tell me which pins are used on the power connector? THANKS in advance! ** To respond, remove the crap from my addy... ** I have a Quantum Turbo battery for my 45CL, and the cable that plugs into the female connector for 'mains' provides 700V AC on pins 2-3...pin 1 does nothing Pin1 ---- Pin 2 --------------- Pin 3 |
