Uncoated? The cam matches the lens (or so seller claims), so this is a
later-manufacture lens and must be coated. Did Zeiss ever make an uncoated
135mm F3.5 Planar that fit that Linhof branded shutter? Dunno. Bob S might
know.

Didn't Zeiss start coating in the 1930s? That's a post war serial number
so.

Didn't Zeiss start coating in the 1930s? That's a post war serial number
so.

Yeah. I think Rafe was fooled by the photograph's warm color and poor
quality. (Oh, when I said "cam matches lens", I mean the cam has only one
serial number, meaning it was made in the later period when the cam didn't
have to match camera and lens: just lens.)

No it doesn't.

The cams always have the lens serial number on the top. If there is a
camera serial number it is stamped on the bottom of the cam and since he
did not include a picture of the bottom you are leaping to a conclusion.
