Kenko pro 300 best for Nikon 80-200/2.8 ?

Hi,

Would I get good resuals with the Kenko pro 300 teleconverter
on my Nikon 80-200 2.8ED ?

would the X2 version maintain the AF ?

would it be so with slower lenses (Sigma 50-500 5.6-6.3) ?

Probably. The Kenko Pro 300 2X is a fine converter, and the 80-200mm
Nikkor is a fine lens. I would expect good results.

Yes, it maintains the AF and matrix metering plus the transfer of D
information if your lens is one of the AF-D versions.

That lens would become a 100-1000mm f/11-13. As such, you are
unlikely to get the AF to work reliably, as f/11 is marginal.
