Default linhof technika cams revisited

Refering to an earlier post in which Bob S. addressed Super Technika cam
numbers: I checked mine today, and it must be a transition model V. The
camera (beige covers) has the white, plastic lever that ratchets for rise
and fall which I believe makes it an early V. The cam for the 135mm has a
serial number for the body and it matches the body, and of course, a serial
number that matches the lens. Transition model, right?

The 270mm lens has only the number matching the lens, and on the other
side/bottom a "V" stamp. Cam is accurate to the rangefinder on each.

No transistion cameras. It is a III, IV, V or Master. Period.

You may have a cam that was cut around the time the V was first
introduced so they stamped both numbers as they always had done.
