Modifying Century Graphic

hi,

i saw an article in a magazinr last year--i think last year--that showed how
to modify a 2x3 century graphic so that it had more useable functions for
field work.

does anyone know where a link to any such articles might be? google has
turned up bupkis.

There is a way of modifying the front of a Pacemaker
Crown or Speed Graphic to allow it to tilt downward without
using the drop bed. I don't know if this will work on a
Century Graphic. While these cameras have a lot of virtues
they are no substitute for a view camera.
