Aside from the camera stuff, this is something I've never
understood. Why are golf fans expected to be quiet? I can't think
of another sport (except chess; is that a sport?) where silence is
required.


Tennis used to be quiet when I watched. Don't know if it still is.


So did cricket - no longer though :-(
