Default Minolta Dynax 3l Vs Canon EOS Rebel TI 35mm SLR

Just curious, I am new to photography and was wondering which is a
better purchase, the Minolta Dynax 3l or the Canon EOS Rebel TI? Any
recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I've never heard of the 31 but beware sub-bottom of the line cameras -
everyone is coming out with them to keep selling through the current
recession. Any carmera that lacks one or more of the essential features is
going to be replaced unless you do nothig more than use it for snaps. The
Rebel Ti has all the features, but the Rebel GII does not.
Assume any feature not mentioned in the promotional meterial does not
exist and look here for the essential features:
