Default Rollei 6008 metering issues

Thanks guys, I had in the back of my mind what one of the other posters
suggested, reciprocity adjustment. It isn't so, I checked with Rollei.
To my knowledge no camera system does in fact have that feature. In fact,
(smiling inwardly), my darkroom meter, 'The Analyser', is the only timer
that I know which has it built in!

The camera is going to be replaced by the dealer. This is new kit, but old
stock, at £1700 for a full kit. Luckily the dealer has a few similar ones,
so a body swap is the simplest solution. In the UK, Rollei is slightly
cheaper than 'Blad, especially if you compare similar optics.

Guess I don't get my paychecks cashed in the right neighborhood...

It gives the exposure that it indicates, and over exposes!

Rollei's don't cost 6K. Not even the AF version with the Schneider 80/2.8
AF lens. Best price I can find is under $3,800 for the full body
(body+mag+grip+battery+charger+screen) and the standard AF lens.

Jim - just trying to kill the "Rollei's are EXPENSIVE" myth...

Dennis,

You are correct. At B&H that's the price. I didn't say that's the price
everywhere!

www.rollfot.de

The price for the body is Euro 3650 and lens is 1989. That's Euro 4549.
This price include the German VAT of 16%. Ship it outside of Germany (this
company will) and the price drops to Euro 3921.55. Convert that to dollars
and the price is $4901.94 (at the bank rate of 1 Euro cost $1.25). Most of
the other accessories are also less than the B&H price.

Jim - I guess I proved Rollei's aren't that expensive...
