Default Auricon Pro 600 - Previously posted incorrect e-mail address)

I have an Auricon Pro 16 movie camera setup. For all intents and
purposes this is identical to the Cinema Products CP 16 movie camera.
The camera is equipped with a crystal controlled internal motor. There
are two pulleys to give 24 or 25 fps. There is a magnetic sound on
film head too (and the full - external - sound control module but this
isn't as useful as being able to make 100% lip synched movies with a
(for instance) Nagra, DAT tape or other crystal controlled recorder.
For those of you unacquainted with the Auricon's film registration
mechanism - it doesn't use a registration pin. It uses instead a four
ball bearing locating mechanism. This method is absolutely and utterly
perfect for registration. The films are totally without weave or
jitter.
The cosmetic condition is quite superb and operationally perfect. Just
press the switch on the shoulder mounting pod and the clapper lamp
lights up. This indicates that the camera is up to crystal controlled
speed. There is a 12-120mm Angenieux zoom (Crystal clear optics and
completely smooth operation) and two 400ft magazines. It comes
complete with mains power adaptor but battery control would be just as
easy. Everything is there to make perfect movies right out of the box.
Price for the whole lot would be $550 (or best offer) plus postage.
It's tremendous value at the price. Please bear in mind that these
cameras are self blimped. There are utterly inaudible at about 3 feet
away. Even with the camera mounted on your shoulder, it's barely
possible to hear the mechanism. Compare that to an Arriflex.......
(Any Arriflex).

references to any interested party.
