Have you read the guidelines for posting?

You have nothing for sale -- it is a shill for nice things on E-bay
and that makes in no FS in the title line.

Read and enjoy life....maybe your English teacher will rest well.

Did somebody **** in your cornflakes this morning? It
seems if someone bids about 2900$ for that package and gets
it, would be a deal. Unless it climbs to 3500$?

I don't think he has a problem with price (yet). He's being knit-picky
about FS: vs. FA:

As I am!

If he is going to post his e-Bay crap on a marketplace group, least he
can do is honestly indicate in the header it is a FA, not a FS.

As far as e-Bay goes I don't like it anyway.
No one ever gets a good deal at an auction unless nobody else really
wants the item and then the reserve is probably set so high that you
still don't get a good deal.

Just my opinion FWIW.

Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.

What cracks me up is all the people that complain about ebay because people
don't get good deals. If somebody buys something on auction that would mean
that they want it and they are willing to pay a price for it. BTW, that
price is usually less than you would pay in a retail channel. The market is
efficient and prices on ebay reflect that. Further, if one chooses to look
for great deals using the Buy-It-Now option it is easily done. I have
bought and sold plenty on ebay and made money on nearly everything I sold.
Does that mean that my buyers paid too much? No, they paid what they were
willing to pay (or less since ebay is proxy bidding). I am happy and my
buyers are happy.

So the bottom line to me is that the people complaining about ebay don't
really know what they are talking about. They appear to be talking out of
ignorance.

Exactly! And, trying to pick a fight over FA vs. FS is also ignorant.

Here is a "suggestion" -- all you folks that love E-bay should inquire
how to start a Rec.Photo.Marketplace.EBay area and see how well that
floats on the water.

(By the way, the chances that happening are almost as good as EBay
providing a link-button for a Rec.Photo.Marketplace area.)

Bottom line: if you want to sell something, put a price on it and
offer it for sale. THAT IS WHAT Rec.Photo.Marketplace is set-up to
do.

If you WANT TO BAIT someone to a place that is holding a auction, then
it looks like SPAM.

I am not saying that the OP should not have typed FA instead of FS since I
do believe he should. I know there are those that do not like ebay and I
respect their desire to not be baited by FS postings for auction items.

My comments were directed to negative commentary about ebay in general that
were, IMHO, invalid.

Thanks
Sam
