On1 Photo RAW 2017.0.2 released

It looks as if On1 has fixed some of the issues with On1 Photo RAW 2017
and it might start to live up to some of its potential.
I am going to play with it to see where it leads me.

I

am aware of quite a number of recent releases including RawTherapee,
Iridient, Capture One, DxO, Luminar, and Affinity Photo.

For now, along with my normal Adobe workflow, I am limiting my noodling
about to Luminar and On1 Photo RAW 2017. Both of those can integrate
nicely with my LR/PS workflow via plug-in. While Affinity Photo is a
powerful processor/editor it is just too non-intuitive for many of its
functions, and some of the kludges have tried my patience. If they
smooth things out with updates I might explore further as the potential
is obvious, but quite ready for primetime.
