Ronald,
Beautiful images!!!

I'm confused by the lighting in your image:
Sitting Sun and Rising Moon, Waterfowl Lake, Banff National Park # 98-08-F

The light on the moon and mountain tops says the sun is to
the right, but the sky and clouds are brightest on the left
implying the sun is near the left edge of the image.
Is this a polarizer effect or what???

Roger:
Thanks for your kind words. You are right, the setting sun was to
the right. However, I used a polarizer on my Nikkor 17-35 mm/2.8 lens
and the lens axis was in such a direction which has the maxium
poarization effect. So, the sky and clouds at left edge look much
brighter than those at the right edge. I wish I had a ND 0.6 filter with
soft edge in hand, but I did not bring it with me. You have good eyes.
