How many calories a day should I eat ?
Without knowing your age, activity level and health, it's hard to
say. The safest thing to do is consult with your doc and a nutritionist. But to give you a comparison, I'm female, age 52, 5'8" and weigh 215. I want to continue to lose weight, so I consume an average of 1,500 calories daily. I also exercise 60 minutes to 90 minutes, five days a week. I continue to work with a nutritionist as well as my primary care doc. Because I am diabetic, they both warned me against going below 1,200 calories daily. As always, YMMV. Kasey 365/215/??? |
