Default using a 645 for stock photography

Hi all,
a little help could go a long way, i am relatively new to medium format
photography and i am leaning on purchasing a Bronica etr-si mainly for
wedding shoots and also landscapes but i would like to make the jump from
35mm to mf for the image quality for stock photograpy / librarys,
do you think the jump from 35mm to 645 is big enough or do you recomend the
trasition up to 6x6 or 6x7
the 645 is quite a light camera system to handle also the etrsi has the leaf
shutter system benefiting ttl flash
any help on this issue would be greatly apreciated,

many thanks Dave.

Hi,
I do all my travel stock photography with a Bronica RF645.
But I also use 6X7 and 6X9 out of the car or in the studio.
In my opinion my Bronica is good enough and gives very sharp
enlargements at least up to A1.

Cheers,

Most libraries will take 645 - best advice is to talk to the libraries you
plan on submitting to.

Larger sizes will sell better in some - not necessarily all - markets and
the fact that they can give more cropping options appeals to some buyers.
But larger sizes mean more bulk and weight for you to carry, and more cost
in consumables, which may well not be justified by the marginal extra sales
_unless_ you are specialising in one of the areas like calendar pictures
where buyers really do tend to want big slides.

So think about your (end user) markets, and then talk to the libraries that
serve those markets. Chances are that 645 will be fine in most markets.
