Default Where to buy equipmnt in orlando

Hi,
I'm going to Orlanda (From Denmark) beginning next month. I'm
considering byuing a digital camera (PentaxK100D or Canon EOS350D) in
Europe and then buy lenses in Orlando. It's half the price and the
guarantee on lenses is usually world wide. Can you recommend cheap and
still serious photo stores in the Orlando area?

Thanks in advance
C

While you are in the area, stop by Colonial Photo and Hobby. It is on
Mills, a half block south of Colonial, which is State Road 50. See
http://www.colonialphotohobby.com/.

If you make it to Daytona Beach, there is Beach Photo. It is on the
beach-side of Daytona Beach, on the South side of Main Street, roughly
half way between the Main Street bridge and the beach. See
http://www.beachphoto.com/.

If you get to Melbourne, about 50 miles to the southeast, There is
Southern Photo.

Auburndale is a small town in the center of the state south of Interstate
Highway 4, and has Marshall's Camera. See http://marshallscamera.com/.

Tampa has North Tampa Photography.

I don't know if any of these carry what you are looking for. Check the
web sites and perhaps eMail them to find out. I have had good
experiences with each.

There are also several camera shops along International Drive that cater
to tourists. I have not been to any of them, so can't comment about
what they carry. Many of the Malls have a Ritz Camera store. Also
check the telephone directory's yellow pages when you get to the area,
or try
http://www.yellowpages.com/. No doubt there are other camera stores I'm
not familiar with, since I live about 40 miles away.

Hi.

Thanks a lot for your reply. It certainly looks interesting -
especially prices on used stuff.
