I heard that canon has announced the 23 megapixel camera ,any news on that
would be great .. what's it called , specs, price, quality ????

If you do a search on canon with 23 Megapixel it returns a few links that
mention. The following when talking about the 20d

Continuous mode captu 5fps up to 23 frames


Perhaps this is where the confusion lay.

but what do you think are the chances are that they would announce a 23
megapixle dslr ...

Next year, maybe...

Pro film is at about 26MP (or so I'm told), so I would imagine that THAT
is the benchmark that the manufacturers are working towards. Then the
DSLR will be on a par with PRO film resolution wise.
