Subway Yearbook Photos

We claimed that the MTA had hired us to take photos of every single person who rides the subway and that we'd be producing a yearbook at the end of the year. Most people were happy to pose for us, and the resulting photos show just how diverse New York subway riders can be. http://poststory.freenice.org/People...arbook-photos/ Swell. And when people find out that you were playing them and that the MTA never hired any photographers, how do you think they will feel? Will they wonder if you were terrorists or perverts or something? And the next time some photographer claims to be from Nat Geo or the MTA or something, how do you think people will react? Will they pose or are they now more likely to call the cops? There are some proposed changes to photographic copyright being debated in the UK which will give the people photographed in such a way legal redress and may make doing it in the first place illegal. -- Chris Malcolm |
