Sorting Pictures by Name

I am making a Picture Directory for a group with about 550 pictures. I can't
figure a way to sort these pictures by name. All files have been changed to
names. I intend to download them to a disk and then have them printed. Any
advice would be appreciated.

Sure, In Wnidows Explorer, simply go View, Arrange icons by-, name.

Yep. Mel's question is ill-formed. He needs to explain what he
means by a "Picture Directory", what "for a group" means, and
exactly what his end goal is. I gather just sorting by name in
his local file browser is not what he's looking for.

I don't know...
You might be surprised at what people don't know.

Many haven't a clue how to even make a new directory/folder, much less
organize their contents a particular way.

If you are using Excel or a similar spreadsheet to set up the directory, you can sort the
list pretty much any way you want. And yes, you can have links in the spreadsheet.
