PRINT3:2 ratio---almost
My K10D has 3872 × 2592 pixels. 3888 would be exactly 3:2. My GR has
4928 × 3264 4896 would be exactly 3:2. Why is the K10D 16 pixels too narrow and the GR 32 pixels too tall? Why isn't the ratio exactly 3:2? |

Why isn't the ratio exactly 3:2? Different sensors in different cameras with similar aspect ratios which are close enough not to matter. I would not trouble myself too much over this. Three of my cameras, all with APS-C size sensors, but with different pixel density also come up with a different set of file dimentions. D300S: 4288 x 2848,close enough to 3:2 that it doesn’t matter. X-E2: 4896 x 3264,also close enough to 3:2 that it doesn’t matter. X-T2: 6000 x 4000, 3:2 -- Regards, Savageduck |
