Nikon Service Repair Estimates
My equipment is at Nikon Service-California and they sent me the estimates
for the three items. How close are these estimates to the actual final bill in your experience? ilaab

The only estimate I got was for a dropped/smashed-on-one-corner D70 body & they later revised that to a 'cannot fix' when I gave the go on it. I've heard the $300 quote more than once from others, but I'm sorry I cannot confirm the actual bill on actual repairs. I have heard of at least a handful of Nikon repairs performed for much less than $300 but cannot vouch for the details.
