Nothing other than minor issues:

- Paint Shop Pro 9 ran its install procedure once when the program was
first run after a Win-10 upgrade. After that one instance it functioned
normally.

- PIE Studio required entering the registration data again. It them
continued to function as before.

All in all, the Win-10 upgrade has gone exceedingly smoothly.

"Photographer" would be pretentious in my case. I'm "a guy with a
camera".

Good to know, although I hate digging around to find registration #'s.
It was endless frustration with that sort of thing when I replaced my
motherboard. I still think I might wait a bit. It seems my photo/music
PC is the only one ready for the update right now. I'd rather do the
first one on one of the other PC's.

Well, I have w8.1 on a laptop that I got for stuff that needs windows. I
won't upgrade it for because of the automatic update issue.

matic-updates/

This is totally unavoidable in the home edition and I don't wanna spend
money on a upgrade to pro since it cost more than the resale value of
the laptop!

Yes, I felt the same way, and upgraded a non-critical Win-8.1 PC first,
having taken a full backup. It worked well, and was up and running
about 90 minutes later. As my wife's Win-7 PC had a couple of issues I
next took the plunge with a full backup before the Win-10 upgrade. It
was there we discovered the need to re-register Autopano Pro but as I
keep a text file with all the licences for each PC (in multiple places)
it was just a matter of copying and pasting a key. Unusual, as all
other software kept their licence keys after the upgrade.

Then I did the rest of the PCs, which have some rather specialised
temperature sensing and weather satellite data reception software (not
available for Macs, Duck!) and various off-air ship data and aircraft
data software and hardware. I was expecting driver issues, but in the
two cases where they arose I could use the drivers from the Windows.Old
directory left by the upgrade.

Perhaps I have been lucky, but all went smoothly and easily. A number
of minor issues seen on the PCs before the upgrades have been resolved too.
