Which one
I am going to buy a SLR digital soon and I looking at Canon Dig Rebel
and the Nikon N70. Which one? I have no SLR lenses and cost difference will not be an issue. Hank |

wrote in message news I am going to buy a SLR digital soon and I looking at Canon Dig Rebel and the Nikon N70. Which one? I have no SLR lenses and cost difference will not be an issue. Hank Can't comment on Canon, however, I have owned (and still own) several Nikons. This includes my first purchase in 1964 of a Photomic FTN (from EPOI - Ehrenreich Photo Optical), followed by an N8008, followed by a CoolPix 5000. (also, add in a Sawyer slide projector with a Nikon lens!) All cameras are still in tip-top condition, and I have been very pleased with Nikon's quality of workmanship and personal dealings. As I live on Long Island (fairly close to their Melville facility) this also colored my decision, as it made it very convenient for me to bring my 40 year old camera in for it's "50,000 mile tire rotation!" (done a number of years ago.) The people I dealt with were friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. Read all the reviews, especially the personal notes that you may find in newsgroups, such as this. I hope that this helps in your decision! ------- Dave |
