canon pixma mx925...
My old printer (Epson) bit the dust so was looking online for a bargain
on a new one.Found this one for 135 euros. It seemed quite a good deal as it has a fax, auto feeder, scanner, dvd and duplex printing, all the bell and whistles. It also has many software features, like being able to donwload and print art for free, as long as you always get the original Canon ink cartridges. An advantage to the Epson is that 100 sheets of 4X5" photo paper cost 8 euros (Canon paper) while the Epson cost 10 euros for 40. It goes without saying that it has a screen, multi fuction keys etc.So far its printing results look awesome and good ink economy. Haven't printed a dvd or cd yet. The epson came only with the drivers, no extra software features, and you couldn't print a photo on a cd/dvd with windows, you had to insert a usb stick or a sdcard directly in the printer!Impossible to print characters on a cd, of course. |
