Digital Rebel wont power on
I recently purchased a Canon DRebel, worked great for a couple of weeks,
the other day I went to take some pictures and it wont power on at all. I have two batteries freshly charged. I followed all the trouble shooting techniques from the manual and the CR rep, no luck. Has anyone else had any problems like this? Canon wants me to send the camera in for repair, but I'm currently deployed overseas so it would be easier to just send it back home and have my wife return it. Any suggestions or recomendations would be greatly appriciated Thanks |

Like I said I don't know if they do this with their cameras? I'd think they would -replace- a camera that died that quickly rather than making you deal with having it repaired? You could check with the place you bought it to see what time frame they have as far as returns? -- Stacey |

I'm guesing this is an uncommon problem. Jus tmy luck I got the defect and
took it over seas with me. I think I'm going to ship it home and have my wife exchange it. looks like I'm stuck with a disposable camera the rest of the time i'm out here. Thanks for your help |

Any suggestions or recomendations would be greatly appriciated Camera has died. It must be returned to Canon for repairs or replacement. Send it via your wife if that is easier. There is no other fix. |
