Default Need HELP identifying lens... Hanimex 200mm telephoto?

I can't find any info about this lens that was given to me. Can
someone tell me what type of mount this is, if it's a decent lens,
what exactly I might use it for and how much it might be worth.

Please email me if possible.

Very difficult to tell what mount it might be for. In any case it probably
is not worth alot of money. maybe a couple of hundred CDN dollars or
150-180 USD max.

are there any letters insscribed on the mount that might tell for which
camer it is meant to be used on?

Hanimex was/is an umbrella company in Australia that purchased, rebadged
and sold a range of photographic products mainly during the late 70's to
early 90's. I'd be surprised if the lens you have is anything special or
of outstanding quality. Hanimex gear was always aimed at the cheaper end
of the market.

I don't know if Hanimex sold outside of the Australian market.

Oh, yeah, we had Hanimex here in the States, too. They owned the Vivitar
name for a while, I believe. The construction of that lens looks a lot like
the Vivitars of that era, mostly built by Kiron and Komura.
