The page says it all.
While war rages on in this group (and Iraq) a baby grew into a boy. What
sort of legacy will we be leaving his generation?

The legacy of news group spam.

Hey D-Mac, while your obsession with me is sort of flattering in a
psychotic kind of way, I think the rest of the Newsgroup seems to be
saying, "Who gives a ****?"

I mean, I knew you were obsessed and all, but I didn't even realize
the degree of your madness. Now you are measuring time by me. I get
this vision of you sitting at your rocking chair 30 years from now
looking through old photo albums and saying, "Yeah, I remember when he
turned 13. That's when he and Hogan tried to hack into my Ebay
account."

My point is that even if all your paranoid delusions were actually
real and people actually were out to get you by stealing your photos,
hacking into your accounts, or whatever else you might dream up .....
WHO CARES?

The part I'm curious about is if Helen will get convivial visiting rights

No, he uses Photoshop to make the foreground appear blurred and the
background appear sharp. It is then cropped to make the composition
appear to adhere exactly to the Rule Of Thirds (© Alan Browne 2006).

This is all done to fool us into thinking that Doug is merely an
incompetent photographer, when in fact the image is perfectly
composed, with the subject in sharp focus and the background defocused
with exquisite bokeh. It just looks like crap because that is what
Doug wants us to think it is.

We are all so easily fooled. We all think he's an incompetent jerk
who lives on a boat (because he cannot afford to live on dry land) and
who was evicted from his studio (because he could not afford to pay
the rent). But in reality, he is a world renowned and exceptionally
rich award-winning wedding and event photographer who employs a huge
staff to cope with the massive demand for his uniquely detailed prints
on canvas, made with the help of a patented algorithm that the world's
largest software comanies cannot hope to compete with.

Doug's work fetches astounding prices at the world's most prestigious
auction house. Christie's? Sotheby's?

No, Ebay's. Much bigger than the other two combined!

When he isn't making his famiy snaps appear incompetent, just to fool
us, he is using Photoshop to change the subjects of his wedding
photographs from attractive, well dressed and well groomed middle
class professional people into grotesque parodies of uncommon
ugliness, and to hide the subject of one of his award-winning magazine
cover shots ( a lighthouse) by carefully obscuring it with a tree
which wasn't there.

So we should not take this snapshot at face value. Oh no. It is an
exquisite art shot which will one day be exhibited at some of the
greatest art galleries in the world.

It occurs to me that any photo, with rule-of-thirds or not, is much
better than any photo Tony Polson has ever shown.

Maybe that's why he won't post his Paris Match cover photo? Maybe the
staff their cropped it perfectly to the rule-of-thirds and Tony is upset
over this?

Gee, Tony, you really gotta show us that photo so we can admire it.

;-)

Do you mean after the men in the white coats finally come to take you
away? I doubt you'll get many visitors. But you can always pretend
that you do.

You're hinting that Annika might be incarcerated on your behalf? And
you're hinting that Helen will get 'convivial' rights (when you really
mean 'conjugal', don't you?

Douglas, you have a mind like a sewer. You remind me of a punch-drunk
has-been boxer - out of your mind, but still blindly swinging punches
that never connect. Won't you please see some reason, and back out of
this one-sided vendetta before there's nobody left in the group?
