Default Nikon 8000 vs. Nikon 9000 vs. Minolta Scan Multi Pro

I am getting a scanner for my 6x7 negatives. There are pretty good buys
on the Nikon 8000's now, but what are the major differences compared to
the 9000? I have a Minolta 5400 for my 35mm film, so how is the Minolta
Scan Miulti Pro? The prices seem pretty high, so is that because the
quality is as well? Compared to the Nikon's how does it hold up?
Thanks,

JR

I can't compare but I have a Nikon 8000.
I think the 9000 is faster.
I scan 35, 6x6 and 6x7.
You have to clean the film holder for the medium format now and again or it
won't grip the film edge properly and will not hold the film flat.
How good is it??

Fantastic is all I can say, but the files are very big. You have very good
control over file size, contrast etc. etc.
I've got fantastic results out of very bad slides etc.

Digital Ice is superb, but does not work on this model on Kodachrome or B&W.
With it I've had perfect results from terribly dirty negatives and slides.
