Tetenal C41 Stabilizer
Does anyone knows what the agitation times for the Tetenal C41 chemistry? The directions give the agitation times for the developer and bleach-fix but not for the stabilizer. I am planning to develop a roll of film next week.

You drop the film into the stabilizer, leave it in for a minute or so and pull it out again. It's nothing but a glorified wetting agent with a few additives to kill fungus and bacteria. Since this stuff builds up some nasty residue, it is recommended not to pour it into the tank but to use a dedicated recipient and take the film off the reel before putting it into the stabilizer. I am planning to develop a roll of film next week. An entire roll? All at once? No wonder the planning takes until next week... ;-) Ralf -- Ralf R. Does that advice also apply to common-or-garden wetting agent, e.g. Agepon, Ilfotol or Photo-Flow? Jobo recommends not letting photo-flo touch the reels or tanks. Not a problem just grab a cheap plastic tub big enough to hold the film. Nick |
