I recommend a program called noiseware. I'm sure you can google it and find
the link. They have a free version and a pro version. IT is very fast and
easy to use.

It seems to me that noise is only a problem if a person doesn't want
to process the images on the computer. Noise can easily be removed
with software, much of which is free for personal use. I have the
FZ20 and the occasional noise has never been a problem.


Btw, which noise reduction software do you use / recommend?

I like NeatImage (currently up to version 5.25 at www.neatimage.com ).
There's a free version of it available which is fully functional. It can be
carefully configured to remove the appropriate amount of noise so images
don't look overprocessed. It has the option to sharpen images as well.
