Camera for my Nikon lenses

Which body would be best? Or which is cheapest at this time?! I have a
lot of lenses expensively acquired which I am loath to give up .. for
little $$ I am not concerned about the "lenses must be digital"
debate!

You can have your old lenses rechipped and use them
on any digital body, or you can use them without rechipping
on any of the pro class bodies. ;o)-max-

Please clarify about the rechipping...do you mean that one fellow who'll put
chip about a half dozen or so very expensive AI/AIS lenses (only)? (He
doesn't list my 8mm f/2.8 and doesn't respond to email questions.) Or, do
you know about something else????
