Is it possible to reload these with new film?

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of using them in the first
place?

Not if your wanting to conserve space without spending the extra 40% for the
preloaded ones.

Take one apart and you'll answer your question. I suppose if you save the
two ends that tear off and are good with splicing tape on the base side of
the film it could be done, but you'd better have a clean room, an antistatic
work table and foolproof jig to line everything up. Film flatness will be
questionable. It might be worth trying if you wanted to use some film that
isn't available in ready loads. Let us know if it works out.

I don't have one too take apart. I was going to buy one if it was possible,
so I could carry more film ready for use.

Sounds like it would be a LOT easier to use film holders. Getting all
those pieces to stick to the film would be a chanllenge.
