With that application on my Mac (OS X), I can click on any frame of an MPEG and drag it to my desktop. It is a "movie clipping." I open it in my favorite image editor and save the frame as a JPEG or whatever. QT lets me step through the movie frame by frame, so I could click and drag each one if I wanted to. QT Pro runs on Windows, too, so I expect similar capabilities there. Now all we need are HD cameras so the stills we pull off video are bigger than a credit card..... John McWilliams Yes, that will be a problem, but if one has done the recording of something important in "movie" mode, but not as a 4MP still, then that might be the only choice. Hunt |

Greetings Mike,
Sorry to hear that you did not get the help you needed? Actually, Kodak includes Apples Quicktime for Windows or Mac with it's EasyShare software. It is free and works extremely well. You can upgrade the free version that Kodak includes to the pro version for $29. and I believe it will let you export to other formats as well as edit and so on. Check the Quicktime site for details. I bought it and find it amazingly good. If memory serves, you can export to about 25 different formats of still, movie, and audio formats. Just clip the frame you want and you should be able to edit. Keep in mind that the quality of a clipped image will not be that of a general still image. As noted, there should be a lot of programs out there that can edit clipped images. So, it is a good idea to review the search engines. Talk to you soon, Ron Baird Eastman Kodak Company "Mike Hamilton" wrote in message om...
