Where can I get plans to build a lightbox for viewing 35mm slides? how fancy do you need? You could go to a hardware cavern and buy a 'shop light' or other fixture that is meant to hang over a kitchen or pool table, turn it upside down and place a sheet of white plastic over it. I bought a table someone built, its literally a box of 2x8 wood, with a sheet of ply wood underneath and a sheet of plastic on top, and two shop lights in the middle. a couple holes for ventilation. they got cleaver with legs, they slide into a small square on each corner so I can tilt it and remove the legs for storage. the key concept is a sheet of white plastic with a light underneath, |
