Please help-Canon S-10 or Polaroid PDC 1100?

I need a camera for Ebay, and for some decent family pics. I was
offered a Polaroid that looks okay, but only has 1 megapixel. I
stumbled across some Canon S-10's that are above 2 megs, and read good
things about this camera. I need some GOOD pics of family for cd
storage, and can't spend 200-300 for a Kodak etc. I don't care about
quality of blown up prints, just good jpegs..any opinion on these 2
cameras?
Sorry to be so ignorant. I use an 80's Pentax now for my pics, or a
disposable Fuji. The first is so heavy and cumbersome (loading film is
a HASSLE), and with the cheap Fuji's ($10), we have to scan, etc.
