Sure, it's ok to blanket a country with 500,000 CCTV cameras, ensuring no

Meanwhile, back at "We hate any form of freedom Central:" The seething
hatred of anything they can't control, by states that become too powerful.

Bitcoins's a menace, but I love this part of the article:

"
The government's aim is part of a broader update to the EU rules
which are under negotiation."

Yeah! They are soo aiming for that bold path of independence...
The British will have the same status in Europe as Norway and
Switzerland from now on! :-))

Do you mean that Brits will have to drive all-electric cars, eat herring, and
yodel.

....and fly their drones below 400ft in their livingroom.

The Norwegians have shelved their electric cars...

where 'approach 5%' is normally under 3%, sometimes almost nothing
(e.g., costco).

It's only a menace to slimy bankers who want to abolish cash and charge
a fee for every single financial transaction. Some of he credit card
fees approach 5% which is ridiculous for processing an electronic
transaction in a few micro-seconds.

There is no foundation in reality for virtual dough. That's in the
concept, of course but gives you hold of its value whatsoever...
