Is film getting cheaper in your neck of the woods?
I have noticed that consumer level films from AGFA and Fuji are down in
price substantially this festive season. Fuji has a 5x24exp pack of Fuji Superior 200 on sale for about half of what it would normally cost, plus they threw in D&P vouchers equivalent to the cost of the film. Agfa are offering 2x36exp rolls for around half-price too. No vouchers though, but then I can't remember when last I saw a lab using Agfa machinery. I bought the Fuji 5-pack. Just finished off the first roll in my Leica R4 and can't wait to see the results. |

I was just into a Proex looking for film for an assignment tomorrow evening, and they hardly had any. Most of the rack behind the desk was empty, and they didn't have any of the Kodak professional films. So off to the real camera store; after checking the refrigerator more carefully (since film is becoming less and less an item I want to hold much stock of). -- David Dyer-Bennet, , http://www.dd-b.net/dd-b/ RKBA: http://noguns-nomoney.com/ http://www.dd-b.net/carry/ Pics: http://dd-b.lighthunters.net/ http://www.dd-b.net/dd-b/SnapshotAlbum/ Dragaera/Steven Brust: http://dragaera.info/ |
