The whole idea of the new groups is to improve readability and communications,
in large part by reducing the number of headers one needs to wade through
(personally this is the biggest reason why rpd is no longer an NG I read a lot).

You can post where you like, but I believe over time that will move to the new NG.

.... the discussion of slr type digital cameras... Discussions here (rpd)
regarding digital as a more general topic (DSLR or otherwise) are entirely
appropriate... but specific to DSLR discussions should move to the new NG.

Your opinion, which you are entirely free to express. But, again, we didn't go
through the process of creating the NG with the expectation of duplication on
rpd. The whole purpose is to make rpd less cluttered and more readable ... by
moving subjects into narrower areas.
