Default lubricant

My Minolta X 700 has a problem with synchronisation. According to the manual
there are 2 possible cures, either adjust a contact spring, or lubricate the
curtains from the shutter.

My question, which oil to lubricate the moving parts of a camera?

To properly lube a camera, you need to disassemble it. For that you
will need to have a service manual, tools, and the knowledge to do
the job right..

Many cameras are damaged by people who get the wrong information on
repair or assume they can do it..

Tools and lube can be found at http://www.micro-tools.com

You may even be able to locate a service manual here or on ebay but be
prepared to send the camera to an experienced repairman which is my
advise..
