How good are these mirror lens? On a digital SLR it would be a
750mm f/8 lens.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would bet that 90% (prby more) of cat owners use them briefly then
put them away or sell them.

I'm one of the 10% then.

All the same, I don't use mine often: it's for times when I need a
long lens, but can't carry anything really big/heavy with me because
of where I'm travelling to. And my mirror lens is a Pentax: a really
good one - but I still don't use it that often.

Still, the bokeh is sonething you learn to deal with - mostly by using
mirrors for shots where it won't be an issue. The fixed aperture is a
bigger issue, really. Mirror lenses _can_ be very good, and they
do offer compactness and light weight, but be aware of the drawbacks.

Agreed.
